It's All Falling Into Place on the Ridge

Just as the Aspen leaves are turning gold, and the air has that crisp clear light that you only see in September...

......AT LAST..real progress on #3 Roosevelt Ridge Road. Thanks to all of the hard work by our architects, Knight Architects, our contractor, Havell Construction, and our own persistent efforts the new house is becoming more than a dream.

The permits are beginning to flow in.. septic, well, access.. and the building permit has been submitted. Josh, the excavator, is busy digging. The leach field began to take shape after a startling BLAST... The house footprint is all staked out and we can stand at our 'front door' and imagine our home taking shape.

We're spending our time meeting with window companies, kitchen designers, surfing the net for appliances, lighting, and decorating inspiration. Tim, Aslan, and Homer are on the job keeping the ridge safe, projects moving along, and Ralph entertained. And, yes.. we're EXCITED about building our new home.
